Scientifical study of a point where science endet and another thing started. It´s a wonder to what humans are able. And if there is little to know anyway, Eric is assuring us about this.

for me these pictures are travelling without moving - a little bit like the work of karl may. i'm curious whereto the journey goes.

Felix Adelmann (felix)

it is so incredibly lively - i can hear the screams and smell the crystal clear air.. very dynamic image, great drawing. Can't wait to see more.

scheisse kalt hier (1905? 1913?), aber jetzt wo wir für monate im packeis liegen..., kick it like beckham (not in 2008, sorry), einfach einen ausspielen, ein fussballer kann das nachempfinden, auch am arsch der piraten, der natur ausgeliefert, gegen den lagerkoller! your idea? felix is right! ein kleines spiel gegen die grossen ängste und auch noch gut gemacht, good work!

peter bies (peterbies)

Looks like Shackleton's 'Endeavor'.
These fellows knew of no Gore-Tex or GPS...
A virtuoso at work, true.
But what's the use of reproducing a historical photograph as a hyper-realistic drawing?
Where's the epistemologic gain?
Where's the 'Erkenntnisgewinn'?
Escapes me.
Ok., must have a look at the whole series!

The name of Shackleton's ship was, I think, it was 'Endurance'.' Endeavour', that was Captain Cook (don't wanna spread no false info here...sorry!).
