I like these. They remind me of Anselm Kiefer - he had a large show using ships in his work. Nice!

This is the first time that a reproduction helped me to understand the work as a whole. Lucky enough, i have seen these works in person many times, but i was distracted by many details that caught my attention all the time...thus stepping back and taking a look at the whole series was difficult for me - here on my screen it's much easier, because you automatically step back 10 meters - i must say, for the very first time, a reproduction helped me to like and understand a work even more.
