hmmm...too much expression through the baby buggies for my taste...i was distracted by the appearance of people in this series from the very first moment on, but today this is the only one which still irritates me. Maybe it's just because i lived in a quarter of hamburg called 'Eppendorf' which is PACKED with 'young mothers' floating on a virtual catwalk fighting for the award for the coolest, fastest, and most modern buggies..aah...looook at these wheeeels!!!
Anyway, at least it males emotion rise, so i guess it's right. Oh, and don't get me wrong - i like children and women too, it's just....in this image...i see the calm and smooth nature but what do i hear? - Screaming children.

no Felix, you won´t hear them – they are gone, the buggies are empty.

Felix:
I hate toddlers.
They're a pest.
Jochen:
It is the presence of so many people that I take to this series so gladly!
Felix:
Ever seen poor Mum trying to tackle those narrow aisles at the supermarket with her Hummer-sized heavy-duty Desert Storm buggie?
With oncoming traffic?

Felix:
How do you work design magic on something as uncool as a buggy?
You know - a buggy is basically uncool.
It's inherent.
You can pimp your buggy only so far.
Big frame, fat tires.
And sell Mum and Dad on the image of ATHLETICS... POWER...
SHOCK AND AWE!
But every step beyond is a step towards the grotesque.
Or the tasteless.
Have you seen any camouflage buggies around already?
Jochen:
Sorry - I got carried away... This has little to do with your painting.
Maybe this is a hot issue for our blog...

mein lieber jochen,
dir ist schon klar, dass das eigentlich mein "bild" ist!?
@peter: finally we found something to teach you: how to pimp a buggy!

Peer - wie jetzt?
Echt?
Zeig doch mal!
Das würde mich aber mal interessieren...
