The close-up photo brings about a quiet sense of intimacy for me, and I am suddenly experiencing what I am looking at. I feel trapped in the dead (rabbit's?) world. As a viewer, I love this sensation. But I also love what I am looking at apart from what it represents image wise...I love the dark background patch on the left side and the white fuzz pieces that create sharp, bright lines throughout the picture as they catch the light.

It has the quality of a contemporary object of power (like a tribal fetish object), a doll designed for a magical purpose.
