Education and activities
- Biography
I grew up in Pittsburgh and have been photographing almost as long as I've been walking. My work reflects a dichotomous life, including a career switch from software marketing into fine-art photography. I've taken a number of photo courses, photo workshops and art history courses but my degrees are in the field of business. I currently live and work in New York City.

Topography beyond intimate. w o w. I'm befuddled and keep trying to make sense of just 1 small part. Then I give up and see it as topography again.
Such strong work--so beautifully done.
Sparky--wasn't your work in a show that I curated at the City of Brea Gallery in CA?

hello Sparky,
i really like your work. it has an very intimate and alien (feeling, not the outer space kind) quality at the same time.
i've spent a little time in Pittsburgh,,,nice town.! welcome.

Wonderfull work, Sparky!
Touching, surprising, strange and familiar.
Sure, I´ve seen closeups of skin before, but your atlases of human surface show me a new and fascinating aspect – especially the composition of all single parts are very convincing – is there a system behind that?
I have to admit, that I had something close to that in mind for the nudes that I planned to paint. Now you came up with this brillant results. Inspiring anyway ...
