I explore the physical and symbolic limits of the notion of pictorial space and thus to raise a critical reflection around the structural elements of the plastic production.

The painting , in terms of definition still conserves a strict technical conditioner of visibility between the illusion and the color, the pigment and the flat surface, has tie that it very tenaciously to the support of the space-picture.
What it interests to me they are the sensations that its language independent of the materials wakes up with which it is realised.
In order to continue being painting the painting does not need pictorial technique.
The painting is a fact in itself and is over its land that is due to pose the problems.
I try to untie in the observer acute associations that arise from the sensible experimentation of the surface, the color and of the associations that in can be born, according to its psychic constitution.
My work is to deepen in the why of the painting.
This is not a problem of techniques or formats, but of attitude.
It is not a pensive work, silent, but extroverted, sometimes loud.
As a result of this, the heterogeneity, the hibridization, the mixture, being ideas, attitudes and cultural practices features of the present time, are also present in my work.
I began to raise issues of painting, to find other media, and other materials to make a review of what is traditional painting.
The work in itself is the place of the thought. I believe that it can have, indeed, a real reason to discuss it mainly.
The art must be a critic of existential thickness towards which we are facing.
(*) BILD it is the term that uses Wittgenstein in the Tractatus Logical to speak of the logical representation of the world. That in German it means painting, image, picture.
- Biography
Ibaguè,Colombia(1974).
Diego Pava Wülfert was born in Ibague, Colombia. On September 16, 1974, where he spent his childhood and youth. From an early age and driven by strong internal motivation was developing his creative side and his love of artistic expression.
From 1992 to 1993 military service.Established in 1994 in Bogota, capital of Colombia. His formal approach to plastic art has developed through his architectural studies. It was in this process where he acquired the basic and indispensable skills for his work. During his studies he became interested in Constructivism, Suprematism, the informal, Minimalism, movement, and integrated that combines artistic expression and Architecture. Attend seminars on Art, Aesthetics and Contemporary Architecture, among others. Parallel began to develop his artistic work with the knowledge of the techniques that are combined on the basis of his expressive needs. The work done during this period are the highest regard for his profound aesthetic inquiry into the use of language and formal, being invited to take part in each of the presentations by the chairs in which it participates.
In 2008 he moved to Ibague residence and is currently developing its work.

In 2009 it is invited to participate in the Florence biennale, the biennale of international contemporary art.
During the month of Julio of 2009, it participates with its work in the exhibition “los maestros del Tolima” in the Art Museum of the Tolima.
October of 2009, it participated in the Biennial SIART 2009. La Paz, Bolivia.
January 2010 to participate in the 8th National Exhibition of Art Diversity Casacuadrada Gallery, Bogota, Colombia.
April 2010, participated in the Second Biennial of Painting, Guayaquil, Ecuador.
