A Tree
A tree beside the sandy river-beach
Holds up its topmost boughs
Like fingers towards the skies they cannot reach,
Earth-bound, heaven-amorous.
This is the soul of man. Body and brain
Hungry for earth our heavenly flight detain.

Thanks for your interest and nice comment, Patrick.
Bicycles and chess board are hand-made and designed by me.
The diffusion is a painting technique I invented and develloped about ten years ago.
Best wishes
Roland

Hello Roland,
Thanks for the favorite. I feel especially complimented since I have a great respect for your work and skill as a photographer. I have just visited www. love animals and your website. I am greatly impressed by it all, especially your work for animals and your many art skills. Is diffusion a photographic technique or a painting one? I think your pencil drawings are exquisite. Is the chess board made and designed by you? also the bicycles? Sorry I do not speak German,
Best wishes,
Patrick
