4 years Western Front of World War I (1914-1918) in the fields of Flanders. Hundred thousands, Enemies and friends, they lost their lives in trench warfares and buried in the Flemish earth. This land tells their story - till this day.

Unter einem Himmel aus zahllosen Sternen,
jeder Schritt sein eigenes Universum,
tausendmal ein Atemzug einzigartig,
und kein Mensch ist eine Insel.
Woher wir dereinst kamen,
wohin wir irgendwann entschwinden,
lass uns nicht zurück oder nach vorne schauen,
in der Tiefe schlägt das Herz.
