In der Kathedrale Notre-Dame in Reims (Frankreich) gibt es eine sehr seltene Form der Engelsdarstellung: Die von einem unbekannten Bildhauer gefertigte Skulptur eines lächelnden Engels. Unter diesem Lächeln führte bereits Jeanne d’Arc Karl VII. vor den Traualtar und wurde Ludwig XIV. gekrönt. Kann ein Lächeln die Welt verändern?
The cathedral Notre-Dame in Reims (France) presents a very seldom style of an angel’s portrait: the sculpture of a smiling angel, created by an unknown sculptor. Already Jeanne d’Arc led Karl VII. to the altar and Ludwig XIV. was crowned below this smiling. Can a smile change the world?
