This art series is based on a spontaneous inspiration of the moment. That first step, flipping my body or take a walk at the lake are events that only exist at that particular instant. My art explore the freedom of our existence through the informal and lose way that I apply the paint.

Spiritual Freedom is a reflection of how I perceive arabesque designs in our modern Islamic society. This painting is a fusion of the intricate ancient arabesque motives and contemporary art. I used various type of paint in an asymmetrical composition to express the freedom and spontaneity of today modern society. The lines, colors and the floral motives symbolize the ancient Islamic heritage full of hope, peace and happiness.
This art installation is a metaphor of how mass production is taking over our natural environment with the accumulation of objects. I place the geometrical shapes in areas that we are not expecting to see them. The placement of the form transmit a feeling on surprise. The white forms symbolizes the mass production objects that we accumulate and discard on through our human existence.

has been for sale for some time, as you have seen. The maintenance and ongoing development to keep our non-profit and idealistic platform for contemporary art running and safe from hackers etc. costs money that is no longer there. Because of small investments that are necessary now and the running costs, we will have to shut down with a heavy heart at the beginning of summer on June 21.
