See "Junk." This focusses on how, in order for the junk to be transformed, it must first be confronted and aknowledged. This is the same for anything one wishes to change. For example, the only way that I could overcome a fear of heights was to stand somewhere high and narrow enough that any loss of balance would result in death.
This goes with the same theme as "Junk." It does, though, focus on a different aspect. The beauty of a fire, which in nature makes all things new.
This is a commentary on my faith. The textrue in this piece was made from the junk from my room that i had filled a garbage bag with. I actually threw everything away. Then, the artist in me rescued it from the garbage to make a piece of art. This says that the things in my life that I think are revolting can be taken by the right hands and turned into something beautiful. If you spend any ammount of time with me you will eventually find that I think the only way that is truly possible is through the person of Jesus Christ.
has been for sale for some time, as you have seen. The maintenance and ongoing development to keep our non-profit and idealistic platform for contemporary art running and safe from hackers etc. costs money that is no longer there. Because of small investments that are necessary now and the running costs, we will have to shut down with a heavy heart at the beginning of summer on June 21.
