The maintenance and ongoing development to keep our non-profit and idealistic platform for contemporary art running and safe from hackers etc. costs money that is no longer there. Because of small investments that are necessary now and the running costs, we will have to shut down with a heavy heart at the beginning of summer on June 21.
When you talk about the City of Hamburg, you always allways gotta have in mind, that we live & die down here being aware of the fact that sailors / seamen crossing the oceans with their steamers are bringing us cultural influences, goods & wealth.
So that might be one of the reasons, most of us get somehow crazy, when they see ships & boats of any kind & size...
