Exhibition, May 2017, Kysten 95, Art Center, Tromso, Norway.
Painting–sound instalation. Sound collaboration together with Nathanael Gustin(France).
It is a story of real people in they own language.
Since Tromso it is very international place that is located above polar circle, and it is very unique and the biggest town so far north, where the Saami culture meet modern world.
This place join people from all over the world, and some of them decided to stay, another just go and comes back, another never comes back again. Since Tromso is the place not always so easy to live.
In my art work I try to capture the people and they own stories about the place, about they live, about they passion.
Bound is a Norwegian traditional rural clothes (mostly dating to the 19th and 18th centuries) as well as modern 20th-century folk costumes.
The Sami are the only indigenous people of Scandinavia recognized and protected under the international conventions of indigenous peoples, and are hence the northernmost indigenous people of Europe.
The Irish have their own customs, language, music, dance, sports, cuisine, and mythology that it got evolving and expanding.
has been for sale for some time, as you have seen. The maintenance and ongoing development to keep our non-profit and idealistic platform for contemporary art running and safe from hackers etc. costs money that is no longer there. Because of small investments that are necessary now and the running costs, we will have to shut down with a heavy heart at the beginning of summer on June 21.
