The maintenance and ongoing development to keep our non-profit and idealistic platform for contemporary art running and safe from hackers etc. costs money that is no longer there. Because of small investments that are necessary now and the running costs, we will have to shut down with a heavy heart at the beginning of summer on June 21.

Inspired by Fatal Suit's "Prelude To A Dream", I wanted to create a sci-fi fantasy with a melancholic tone. I used Public Domain footage from a 1918 Mary Pickford movie called Stella Maris and "Cat Women Of The Moon" (1953) & then composited it in After Effects with some of my own model work.
Most of the film scratches & other artifacts were added after I had created a reasonably clean version of the film including recreating its inter-titles in Photoshop (fonts used: Nickelodeon & Photoplay).
