Flower power that is more or less easy to understand, preferably for a light or maybe even dark grey wall.
These particular flowers belong to the genus Gentiana, named after Gentius, the King who ruled Illyria (the Western Balkan Peninsula) ca. 200 BC, who apparently discovered the tonic properties of these plants.
The culture and language of Illyria has long since disappeared under historical waves of Celticization, Hellenization, Romanization, and Slavicization, ... but the tonics remain.
A Twilight Zone experience for me was returning to Hamburg on a bus from West Berlin and witnessing all the Germans starting to sing (roar) the folksong, "Blau Blau Blau Blüht Der Enzian", ("Enzian" being the German name of these flowers).
A good friend of mine, who died a horrible death, was a seamstress for a family whose considerable wealth comes from the production a herbal digestive bitter, of which this plant is a key ingredient.
In the (yellow) lower left portion of the painting is a roughly rastered partial self-portrait.
This plant reoccurs in quite a few drawings and paintings ... always a type of Vanitas.
The entire world that surrounds us, is transient.
Digital Deutsche Dreier Draußen, as I was strolling through the park one day, in the very merry month of May.
This painting really is based on a digitally manipulated image of two men and a woman having sex, which has been transformed into a type of geometric wall-paper pattern.
Influenced partially by readings of the Art of Pompeii and events I am, at this point, "reluctant to talk about", which is what Barney Hill said when he was asked about the manipulation of his genitals by aliens in a UFO when he was abducted in New Hampshire in 1961.
The number "3" is also a reoccurring element (in stripes/ colors/ forms) in many drawings and paintings of mine.
Considered a very important "magic number" by Pythagoras representing; harmony, wisdom, understanding / the past, present, and future / birth, life, death, etc. etc. . The number three was a key number to understanding the universe according to Johannes Kepler, and is an important element in C.G.Jung's psychology as well as in alchemist traditions.
Hecate was the triple formed ancient (Egyptian / Greek) goddess of magic, witchcraft, ghosts, entrances, necromancy, and sorcery, as well as the basis of the later historic / religious Christian concept of a "Holy Trinity" .

Partly from the graves of German Whalers ... and Bavarian musical instruments (F holes) ...
Hearing callings from the graveyard. A kind of Vanitas without vanilla but with F holes and candles, ... a mild day for Ahab ... probably his last.
... good primary primate private vibrations ... and yet another partial Vanitas of sorts ... always liked red, yellow, blue, and purple, and green, and black, and ...
