The Inspiration to the composition were some old pictures of myself...a a young man...to be honest...some thirty years ago..., mostly painted and worked out in Photoshop with some FX's effects. Paintings of the persons and the backgrounds were done in PainterX with watercolours/ bruhes.
From a small sketch done with a single pencil in one draft . The artwork was then done with Photoshop CS3.

I thought its time to work on the theme of Gregor Samsa's nightmare once again. So I went to one of my previous pictures "In the Woods" to give it the perception of "Gregor S. meets the grim reaper"
(which he isn't so far... its more like a "deadhead"-merlin !...) ...in the woods.
Cheers
Peter
Done the drawing in Painter X with calk and painted with chalk and pastels brushes. finishing was done in Fireworks & Photoshop CS3
I tried to do a sketch in the style of the old medieval Illustrators of the Middle Age with a typical landscape scenery of that time.My imagination was that it could be in a time when some unexpected catasthrophies like impacts of metorites could have happened. weird?
comments much appreciated...
Thanx
I've done this Sketch some time ago. It should reflect the Impressions of the bavarian and austrichian alps and the houses and cottages i often visited , when Ilived near the area in Munich. I tried to do it in the style of the local residental artists of this area whos watercolour paintings I've seen there.i've tried to add some dramatic effect in there ba composing and colouring.

has been for sale for some time, as you have seen. The maintenance and ongoing development to keep our non-profit and idealistic platform for contemporary art running and safe from hackers etc. costs money that is no longer there. Because of small investments that are necessary now and the running costs, we will have to shut down with a heavy heart at the beginning of summer on June 21.
