Are there community rules?

In order to ensure a fair contact with each other and to service culture in an adequate way for fine arts, even ARTDOXA needs clear regulations. That’s why we have our Community Guidelines":/pages/community_rules.

How can I report abuse?

If you encounter material that is offensive in your eyes or if you have doubts concerning its copyright, you can report this to us by clicking the link Report abuse in the bottom link bar.

Find out more about abuse here.

What exactly is “abuse” in this context?

In a few words: every incorrect use of the website is abuse. For example:

Don’t …

  • post abusive and/ or defamatory content,
  • violate personal rights,
  • post pornographic content,
  • post content that violates the protection of minors without labelling it correctly,
  • solicit, offer or market such products,
  • molest other members,
  • send or forward Spam-mails,
  • use content that is protected by law (e.g. by trademark law, copyright law or patent law),
  • upload files that contain a virus, corrupted files or similar software that may harm the functionality of a computer,
  • delete or falsify an author’s legal references or property .

For details, see “obligations of the user” in our Terms & Conditions.

What happens if abuse has been reported?

ARTDOXA will immediately review the material in question and in doubt remove it from the server. Should the violation be wilfully effected or particularly massive, we reserve the right to close and/ or delete the account of the responsible member and to take legal measures.

I have a great idea for the community – who do I tell it?

How can I report a bug?

Nobody is perfect. We constantly strive for keeping ARTDOXA bug-free; unfortunately it seems inevitable that once in a while a little bug sneaks in, especially because we constantly work on the site and its technical evolution.
