How do I register?
To register click on the sign up button in the navigation bar above. Now enter all the relevant information, read and accept the Terms & Conditions and transmit your data.
After a short while, we will send you an e-mail with an activation code. Enter this code on the activation page or simply by click on the link in the e-mail.
Does ARTDOXA cost money?
ARTDOXA offers membership free of charge, enjoy.
What is MyWebsite and how much does it cost?
You can subscribe to a personal website, called MyWebsite, that shows content that you have uploaded to ARTDOXA. This website shows your artwork without community functions – it is your website in a pure and clean style. MyWebsite can be tested 1 month for free from the moment you click “Free Trial”. In case you like to use MyWebsite the fee will be € 7,— per month. The subscription is payed monthly and is extending automatically. You can terminate it to the end of the month. The service can be used after succesfull payment transaction. You can select the catalogs you wish to be shown on “MyWebsite”: /mydoxa/personal_website_prefs.
Can I change my username?
No, the username cannot be changed – for technical and legal reasons.
I forgot my password! What can I do?
Click on Forgot your password? on the login page. Please enter your nickname and click „reset“. Your account will now be deactivated and you receive an e-mail to reactivate it and thereby change your password.
I didn’t get the confirmation code – what can I do?
First thing you should do is check the spam folder of your e-mail program – sometimes the junk filters swallow things they shouldn’t. If you still can’t find the code, contact us!
I can’t upload a video – why?
Well, you can’t physically ‘upload’ a video on ARTDOXA. We figured that almost 100% of all video artists have already uploaded their movies on YouTube and thus decided to make it possible to embed the material instead of making you upload the whole thing again. You will find the code for embedding on YouTube right next to your video. Click on Add Video?, enter all the relevant information and the code, save, that’s it.
Can I control which e-mail notifications are being sent to me?
You sure can! Login and go to MyDoxa. Here, you will find the Preferences in which you can edit your e-mail alerts.
How can I change the preview pictures in the Artists section?
These thumbnails are the first 5 pictures you have in your portfolio. So it’s either the latest 5 you uploaded, or you can sort your pictures in the desired order. If you don’t know how to sort your pictures, click here
I registered, but I can’t find myself in the „Artist“ area. Why?
In order to become visible in the Artists area, you have to upload at least one picture.
What’s the copyright of the pictures displayed on ARTDOXA?
If not stated otherwise, the copyright of the artwork is being owned by the respective artists. Infringement of copyright will be prosecuted. In case you should want to use a picture, please contact the author BEFORE using any of his material.
