Ye olde time exposure experiment. The original was less than inspired, but once again, toying with the image correction yields peculiar artifacts. I was aiming for "more black", and especially enjoy the water colour wash at the top of the trees, meeting the blackness with a frosty edge. Exploring contrast and form.
My camera logged the time as 1:35 a.m. - a dark April night.
Early May morning, playing with light. Enjoying the snaky stems, rainbowed lensplay and opiate perspective as dawn attacks.
I like the granulated effect on the leaves from multiple layers of sharpening the image.
At the top of the ridge, near the Deer Glade by the Secret Place in wet May ~ the Owl Tree is sleeping.
A short timed exposure with flash between moonset and sunrise. Colour saturation reveals the high reflectivity of the daffodils in a diffused aura. Groovy:)
A midsummer night's moon appears low in the valley.
Low resolution digital is exploited for its grit and cubistic deconstruction of an otherwise soft night. Even the distant crescent moon is reduced to a squarish smudge.
Oh the power of little gods.
September skyline, Lime Hollow Woods, Sandy Creek, PA.
Fun with saturation, color inversion, more black, sharpness and texture.

Enhanced nature photo - my primitive digital experiments in colour & texture. Hewlett-Packard PhotoSmart C200
has been for sale for some time, as you have seen. The maintenance and ongoing development to keep our non-profit and idealistic platform for contemporary art running and safe from hackers etc. costs money that is no longer there. Because of small investments that are necessary now and the running costs, we will have to shut down with a heavy heart at the beginning of summer on June 21.
