- Biography
Andrea Bonifacio is a painter, collage artist, and illustrator living and working in Astoria, NY. She has exhibited with various galleries in the New York City area, including the Henry deFord III Gallery in Long Island City, TOPAZ Arts Center, the Brother Kenneth Chapman Gallery at Iona College, 80 Washington Square Galleries, and AIR. She has worked with various nonprofit organizations benefiting and promoting women in the arts, as well as groups striving for greater diversity of personal expression in arts for worship. Her most recent work includes a series called “Glossolalia,” named after the ancient Christian practice of speaking in tongues. Ms. Bonifacio has a BA from Carroll College in Helena, MT and has studied at the Art Students’ League and The New School in New York.

has been for sale for some time, as you have seen. The maintenance and ongoing development to keep our non-profit and idealistic platform for contemporary art running and safe from hackers etc. costs money that is no longer there. Because of small investments that are necessary now and the running costs, we will have to shut down with a heavy heart at the beginning of summer on June 21.
