My Private Alphaville - Altona Station
The structure in the picture, that's a switch tower, a piece of obsolete technology (like tape decks and VHS...) waiting for demolition. It's been out of use for decades.

We are standing and walking on a star, among millions of stars in the universe. We can find the whole cosmos too beneath our own feet. Even the flat surface of a street can open wide into the deepness of space. “As above, so below”.

The maintenance and ongoing development to keep our non-profit and idealistic platform for contemporary art running and safe from hackers etc. costs money that is no longer there. Because of small investments that are necessary now and the running costs, we will have to shut down with a heavy heart at the beginning of summer on June 21.
