This project is based on the idea that every single second of our lives holds meaning. I collected items that are normally viewed as mundane and used them as "canvas" for my artwork. Using self-portraits of people waking up in the morning I printed, drew, and painted faces on my new material and created an installation filled to the brim with the extraordinary of the ordinary.
This is a piece from a project I call "The Morning Picture Project." It combines all 16 participants onto one piece. It was later shown in a solo exhibition entitled, "I am a Terrible Morning Person."
This is a piece developed from the "Morning Picture Project," which was shown in a solo exhibition entitled, "I am a Terrible Morning Person."

This is a piece from a project entitled "Morning Picture Project." I collected receipts from purchases I made fro approximately 3 years. I then chose 365 of them to print on (I printed carvings I made using photographs of myself in the morning) and hang them in chronological order.
has been for sale for some time, as you have seen. The maintenance and ongoing development to keep our non-profit and idealistic platform for contemporary art running and safe from hackers etc. costs money that is no longer there. Because of small investments that are necessary now and the running costs, we will have to shut down with a heavy heart at the beginning of summer on June 21.
