Exquisite works by Turkish born artist and photographer Laureen Warrington. Her work is visceral, fresh, energetic and spell bounding. Her images tremble with symbolic possibilities. There is something magical in the work. It is an invitation into a realm of spirituality, a realm of the unknown, a realm where life is pure, full of pristine beauty. Her highly accomplished work captures the common ache of the contemporary head and heart. Warrington photographs crystals and other earthly elements and digitally touches the images with redeeming passion to create something unworldly. At times she may accentuate the image by painting some parts of them. Her primary goal she says “is to show that water, crystals, nature, the sky with its planets and all the elements work with us and are a constant source of inspiration and teaching.”
