Auf einem der Flohmärkte hier habe ich eine sehr robuste gebrauchte mexikanische Tortillapresse entdeckt und sie mit wenigen Handgriffen für den Druck von Sperrholzplatten (Linde) umgerüstet. Dieses einfache und ursprüngliche Verfahren lässt dennoch ein einigermaßen passgenaues Arbeiten zu. Durch den notwendigen recht dicken Farbauftrag und den teilweisen Übereinanderdruck der Farben ergeben sich zufällige reizvolle Strukturen in den Flächen und jeder Druck wird anders. Es hat ein wenig den Charme vom Kartoffeldruck!
