Nectaria Radu was born in1984 near Bucharest.
Since age 11 she spent her summer vacations at the National Village Museum "Dimitrie Gusti", Bucharest, the place where her creativity has developed, making drawings of nature, the traditional architecture of the houses, discovering traditional characteristic elements. Gradually she began to participate in summer camps organized by the institution and later became a painting teacher.
She attended high school in Bucharest at Nicolae Tonitza. She studied painting and graphics being coordinated by Prof. Dr. Yuri Isar.

She was admitted to the National University of Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Painting Department, the first year of studies under Prof. dr. Horia Pastina here to learn what it means patience, study the same compositions following different states, and the next three years in the class of Prof. Sorin Ilfoveanu, here she learned courage color. She also attend the pedagogic module in visual arts for 2 years.
She attended the Universities of Master of Arts in Bucharest, Faculty of Fine Arts, Painting Department, making the first project “Celebrity” following pop-art message reinterpretation with Professor Catalin Balescu.

She became a member of the Artists Union since 2010 and member VISARTA 2012.
In the summer of 2013 she participated in the U-Care, Urban Culture Against Racism in Europe.
