Nikolay Sazhin

Was born in 1948.

In 1972 graduated from Leningrad Arts College named after V.A. Serov.

In 1978 graduated from the Repin Arts Academy in Saint Petersburg, graphics department.

1977 - 1989 – taught in Leningrad Arts College named after V.A. Serov; drawing, graphics.
1989 - 1990 – taught in the Repin Arts Academy in Saint Petersburg, graphics department.
1989 - 1990 – slide-lections in the Rid College, Washington, The USA.

Since 1997 – teaches in St Petersburg Higher Arts-Industrial College named after V.I. Mukhina.

Since 1986 - a member of the Russian Union of Artists.
Since 1996 - a member of the Saint-Petersburg Academy of Contemporary Art.
Participant of many exhibitions in Russia and abroad.

Works are in numerous museums and private collections, including: State Russian museum; Russian National Library; The Saint-Petersburg State Museum of Theatrical and Musical Art, Anna Akhmatova in Fontanny Dom; Manege, Central Exhibition Hall, The St Petersburg State University; the Museum of nonconformist art (Pushkinskaya, 10); Museum of Fine Arts named after Pushkin, Moscow; Arts museum, Tallinn; Museum of modern art, The USA; Museum of erotic art, Germany.

And in many private collections in Russia and abroad (France, Germany, Italy, The USA, Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Japan, Finland, Israel).
