One of two shots I am choosing between for my "perfect" food shot. I'm leaning toward this one because it isn't the full view and I think it is still readable as a big bowl of Lucky Charms marshmallows.
I chose to do a bowl full of Lucky Charms marshmallows. I don't know about you but I know as a kid I wished Lucky Charms was just the marshmallows. It would save me time eating the actual cereal part and then the marshmallows.
Any thoughts on both images is welcome. Which one is more suited for publication in an editoral sense or advertising context as well.
Natural lighting from the big [and only] window in my room at about 1:30 in the afternoon.
This is probably the most challenging edit i've done to date. It wasnt the quality or quantity of photos i had to work with, it was capturing mood. Trying to express how someone else feels about nature, someone you barely know and going on a couple things they said in a short interview was very very challenging for me. There is an install with this photo but in that photo you cant see this properly so to give full spectrum i've included this for better viewing.
My intention was to show how Stacey feels in nature. this was the assignment and thankfully i pulled it off in the last bit of time i had to complete this project. She told me she feels very at home in nature. She likes going for walks, camping and just being within that element.
has been for sale for some time, as you have seen. The maintenance and ongoing development to keep our non-profit and idealistic platform for contemporary art running and safe from hackers etc. costs money that is no longer there. Because of small investments that are necessary now and the running costs, we will have to shut down with a heavy heart at the beginning of summer on June 21.
