Shirin Donia (ShirinDonia)
Shirin Donia is a young, Irano-German artist. She was born in Germany in 1980. By the age of two she would spend many hours lying on the floor painting. Her creativity was encouraged by an inspiring environment as she came across many foreign countries and mentalities from a young age. Her cosmopolitanism and artistic esprit have been shaped by stays in Florida, the Caribbean, India, the Middle East and London - to name but a few.
Shirin Donia attended academies in England and the USA. Following further training in Digital Art at a studio in Palma de Mallorca, she is now equally master "of the paintbrush and of the PC". Her paintings speak for themselves, as the numerous exhibitions over the past few years have shown.
For eight years, Shirin Donia has been working successfully as an artist and has continuously developed further. Today she fascinates the viewers with large size, brilliant and mainly photorealistic oil paintings. The aesthetic motifs, often interesting musical and film personalities, are extravagantly represented. The intensive presence of the paintings creates a direct communicative link with the viewer and exerts a strong emotional effect. Integrated squares and interesting graphic effects characterise the particular style of her paintings, which work especially well in any lavish, lifestyle-orientated private and commercial ambience

Shirin Donia ist eine junge, deutsch-persische Künstlerin. Sie wurde 1980 in Deutschland geboren. Schon im Alter von zwei Jahren malte sie, auf dem Teppich liegend, mehrere Stunden pro Tag. Ein inspirierendes Umfeld förderte ihre Kreativität, denn bereits in jungen Jahren lernte sie viele fremde Länder und Mentalitäten kennen. Aufenthalte in Florida, in der Karibik, Indien, Middle East und London - um nur einige Stationen zu nennen - prägen ihre Weltoffenheit und ihren künstlerischen Esprit!
Shirin Donia besuchte Akademien in England und den USA. Durch eine Zusatzausbildung in Digital-Art in einem Atelier in Palma de Mallorca beherrscht sie heute, gleichermaßen souverän, sozusagen „Pinsel und PC“. Ihre Bilder sprechen für sich, wie es die zahlreichen Ausstellungen der letzten Jahre belegen.
Seit acht Jahren ist Shirin Donia nun erfolgreich künstlerisch tätig und hat sich dabei ständig weiterentwickelt. Heute fasziniert sie mit großformatigen, brillanten, überwiegend fotorealistischen Ölgemälden. Die ästhetischen Motive, häufig interessante Persönlichkeiten aus der Musik- und Filmwelt, werden extravagant in Szene gesetzt. Die intensive Ausstrahlung der Gemälde stellt die direkte Kommunikation zum Betrachter her und übt eine starke emotionale Wirkung aus.
