Uli Hesselmann was born in Würzburg in 1942. After initially being selftaught, she has participated in international workshops since 1990: 1990 under Prof. Gassmann in Trier, 1990 training with Sigrid Matthews, sculptor in Ottobrunn, 1991 with Nandl Eska in Munich, workshop with Maria Geszler and Ingrid Schmitt-Fassbinder in Siklos, Hungary;1992 work with Lubomir Silar,CFR;1993 workshop in Hungary; 1994 summer academy in Salzburg with Azade Köker; 1996 workshop with Prof. Syd Carpenter in Aspen,Colorado;1996 workshop with Jane Perryman in Italy; 1997/98workshop with Prof. Mo Jupp in England;1999 naked raku with Willie and Kate Jakobson in Washington, USA.
Since 1992 she has exhibited in galleries, art societies and for public occasions.
