AMILI GELBMAN – Artist Statement
I expect to deal with the visual limitations that originate from the local natural, and between the real meanings of existence the spiritual awakening of life as it is. The artistic works all deal with the emotional and spiritual aspects and do not give answers to specific rational and physical criteria.
The inspiration – the major influence of the works are based on warm human texture that flows and breaths compared to other cold abstract mediums.
I work mainly with themes involving the use of local textures and materials, with metaphysical influences.
My work is journey and my aims to wards truth: uncovering illusions and masks, fears and emotions, with an inner passion for human mechanisms, archetypes, healing sensuality, dreams, and myths.
To My life is a matter of energy, flux, rhythm and momentum, actions and reactions, fusion and transformation. The Yin & Yang harmony of the contrasts.
The too often forgotten cycle of life: rebirth, destruction the method behind the series of works:

Creativity to heal and strengthen people's joy, self expression and freedom.
