Beautiful work ... combination of figurative and abstract elements works well... have a strange feeling when I look at your paintings, as if I am looking at two opposing inclinations in myself... an impulse to just enjoy colour, shape, texture and mark for its own sake and an opposing inclination to want explicit reference points in relation to the world... maybe its the unresolved contradiction in my own efforts...
