Von Jederman ergänzbare Online - Enzyklopedien wie Wikipedia sind Beispiele für diesen Umstand welcher immer neue Strategien der persönlichen Verwertbarkeit von Daten und ihrer strukturellen Entsprechung im Diskurs mit der Umwelt .
Lösungen wie Formatierung sowie Komprimierung aller Information und ständigen polymedialen Updates gepaart mit cosmopolitem Feingefühl und / oder dem Verweis der persönlichen Thesen sind in dieser künstlerischen position beschrieben und sollen dem Betrachter auf seine persönliche, systemimmanente Rolle im Geflecht öffentlichen Fakten und Meinungen.
Die formale Entsprechung dieser Position wird durch informelle Objekte aus neu formatierten (zerschnittenen) Büchern also einem Datenquerschnitt eines endlichen Archivs , gesucht.
Die so freigelegten Informationspartikel ergeben durch informelle, skulpturale Anornungen dieser Buchfragmente kryptische Muster und Zeichen und erfordern neue Denkstrukturen zur Erfassung und Verwertung des Wahrgenommenen.

This neon sculpture was first shown in the "Gallery 7/8ths Compassion", located in the Sternstrasse (Star Street) in Hamburg, which is next to the industrial slaughter houses of Hamburg.
One of these neon pieces ended up hanging in the Berlin Bendlerblock building, in the offices of the Federal Republic of Germany Department of Defense in the 1990's (it was purchased by Rudolf Scharping's Press Secretary). Don't know what ever happened to that one ... this one is still in my studio.
The size and texture of the groving ice on the stone varies according to the room temperature. The continuous water drip from the carabiner above freezes onto the stone.
There's a Land Where Sun Has Banished the Water (the stone on the foreground which is warmed up to 40 Celsius degrees) and Here's a Shoulder Where Death comes to Cry ( A melting carabiner bilding ice on the stone underneath it).
