About me
michael chorney (fixel101)
college of medicine academic involved in teaching, research, more community engagement as of late in trying to get young minds from falling through the societal cracks. part-time, or is it full-time?, non-professional artist, with a passion for color and line. i have been at art for many years, trying to salve my weird perceptions on life-unfortunately, most of my works have been given away to past friends and acquaintances. c'est la vie. this incursion into the world of art is an attempt to re-establish my creative juices and to meet other art-minded people with a passion for their work. my one legacy, of which i am content, is that my son remains excited by expression and his work.
- Exhibitions
penn state college of medicine, department of humanities, 2000 or so.
has been for sale for some time, as you have seen. The maintenance and ongoing development to keep our non-profit and idealistic platform for contemporary art running and safe from hackers etc. costs money that is no longer there. Because of small investments that are necessary now and the running costs, we will have to shut down with a heavy heart at the beginning of summer on June 21.

Your pastel drawings, that I keep coming back to and selecting for my favorites, give me the impression and feeling that they have been created with love and enthusiasm.
Keep up the great work so that I can look at and enjoy more of your artworks.
All the best
Tom

Michael, thanks so much for your recent compliments & friendship. I'm a fan of your work too, and of Chris' work as well. I'm not a professional either, just do art in my spare time, self-taught.
So you met Twombly--I'm jealous! Keep in touch.
