The maintenance and ongoing development to keep our non-profit and idealistic platform for contemporary art running and safe from hackers etc. costs money that is no longer there. Because of small investments that are necessary now and the running costs, we will have to shut down with a heavy heart at the beginning of summer on June 21.

About me
George van Uden (georgevanuden)
I am a graphic designer and graphic artist (born in 1957) from the Netherlands. In my work I use photos (old photos from individual people, old family photos and other old or new visualy interesting photos) I found on the internet. But not before I asked and received permission (if possible) from the owner to do so.
I use and combine several techniques in my work like image transfer, drawing, painting and digital manipulation.
Mostly I make just one high quality inkjet print of a work, sometimes I make an edition of five.
Since the end of 2007 I use only one colour next to black and white in my work.
