This is one of the drawings of the series that I created during my holiday in the South of France, while recovering from the cancer treatment. Not having access to my usual tools and materials, and in a limited space, I have experimented with different techniques. Here I painted with acrylic on paper(usually I use indian ink for my drawings.

Shades of serenity drifting in from a treacherous voyage eager to discover a parallel spirit to envelop.

Shallow peaks of volcanic colors billowing beneath the earth.

top Bereshith

"Bereshith" means, in Hebrew, “in the beginning,” and is taken from the book of Genesis. This painting is a portrait of the Spirit of God in the form of the words He is about to say, hovering over the surface of dark waters.

Gen 1:2 (AMP) The earth was without form and an empty waste, and darkness was upon the face of the very great deep. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters.

"Adom" is the Hebrew word for "red" and is related to the concept of blood or red earth.
