Bernadette Jiyong Frank (jiyong)
- Biography
Born in Tokyo, Japan, Bernadette Jiyong Frank’s paintings have been exhibited in the San Francisco Bay Area and across the United States, and most recently, her work has been exhibited at FSU Museum of Fine Arts. She has been awarded a Silver Medal in New Images Photography Awards 2012, and was nominated for the 2013 2 x 2 Solos Exhibitions by Pro Arts Gallery. Bernadette was awarded a commission for a public art project by the Arts Commission in Whangarei, New Zealand. Her work is held in various public and private collections, including the Crocker Art Museum and Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula. Bernadette’s paintings have appeared in various publications including New American Paintings. She has attended Otis Art Institute of Parsons School of Design in Los Angeles. Bernadette is represented by Dolby Chadwick Gallery in San Francisco.

The maintenance and ongoing development to keep our non-profit and idealistic platform for contemporary art running and safe from hackers etc. costs money that is no longer there. Because of small investments that are necessary now and the running costs, we will have to shut down with a heavy heart at the beginning of summer on June 21.
