Hi Jon
Thank you so much for selecting my work for your favorites.
The image "Defying Gravity" is a three dimensional figure floating on/in the space in the canvas. It doesn't have wings. This was an experiment in high relief work on canvas (no board as a support but the canvas stiffened with an acrylic fabric hardener and the figure made from fabric also stiffened with the same fabric hardener).
The gum boot was made from a carved tree branch sole and eucalyptus/gum leaves hardened with the same acrylic resin fabric hardener as a wearable shoe for our exhibition "Eucalyptus Dreaming".
Thank you to you for taking the time to look at my paintings!
And it is with great pleasure that I discovered the different themes of your work original and beautifully photographed!
Many thanks for the favs and comments, Jon.
I really dig your digital pieces – are very sensual and evoking in all "cold" abstaction.
Keep it on down under,
Jochen
