Claudia Lüthi alias Abdelghafar is drawing and painting since she can think.
Because her drawing teatcher gave her bad marks in the reports she decided to go to
the commercial school and worked in several business in the office as a secretary.

But she kept on drawing and painting for herself.

In 2004 she had her first exhibition in a dentist practice.

In 2006 she began to paint oilcolour on velvet. She is not only painting all over but playing with the velvet to include the structure into the painting.

Her paintings have a living and threedimensional effect with a lot of vivid colours. The peoble like them because they are just beautiful.

So from the bad mark from the teacher she developed to an international asked artist. In 2013 she will have here first exhibition in New York.

The story of her artist name is a short marriage with an egyptian-man who had this name.
It sounds special so she kept this name as her artist-name.
