Lucha Rodriguez was born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela. She earned her BFA in Graphic Design from The Art Institute of Atlanta, where she graduated with the Award of Outstanding Academic Achievements-2006. She is currently a MFA candidate in Printmaking at The Savannah College of Art and Design Atlanta with a Combined Artistic Honors Fellowship from the college. Rodriguez’s print work has been shown in Mexico, India, France and the United States. She curated The American Print Alliance Student Show at SCAD-Atlanta in 2008. Rodriguez is currently investigating subjects related to the internal as a private space through her thesis work.
