Erik Holzworth (mustard)
Open to your interpretation. I have no desire to force mine on you. What I can tell you is that my work is a journey of intuition. One that requires some semblance of clear mind to imagine color palette then from there to just let the size of canvas guide me to put down paint where it feels right. Themes vary and the work is often gestural and figurative but not always. It can be silly to try to verbalize a silent artform in too much detail, it takes away from the magic. Speaking of verbs, I like the written word as well as letters, numbers and all manner of calligraphy and text. There are traces of that in my paintings.
If you are interested in myself or my work you can email on contact me on fb. Invite me for a coffee or drink somewhere in NYC and we can talk.

More than a few too many too remember. maybe you have come across one of my paintings in a book or magazine. I have been contacted and told occasionally when they have been published. Kind of banal and tiresome to track them all down and list them all here so I am not going to do that, I have more entertaining things to do right now like look and share artwork here on ARTDOXA.
