To create this artwork I layered a sketch, watercolour painting and photograph and digitally manipulated the resultant image. This was printed onto canvas and glazed with acrylic.

the idea of translucency of the body and the transparency of space and colour. the project is an answer to questions of transparency of democratic structures and the translucency of " predemocratic political systems " according to the book of jacques derrida " rogue ". this drawing is an approach to the questions of light and space that is confronted with translucency of stone architecture.
