These paintings were painted live while on tour with The Black Keys. They were painted in the venue, during the length of the concert in the midst of the crowd. They were painted while listening to the live performances of such artists as The Walkmen, Dinosaur Jr., The Black Angels and more. These large canvases are finished in one night in around 4 hours.
