i' ve just found my description about works which were one part of my diploma on Academy of Fine Arts

Series of photographic composition on „Barbie’s family”.
The basis of this work of art is Barbie doll and her world her – family. The inspiration to this project was the book “ Barbie culture” by Mary F. Roger which also was the inspiration to my paper work at The Academy of Fine Art.

Barbie as one of the most recognisable icon of pop-culture represents consumerism and is its distinguished symbol.

“Barbie family” is a piece of art forcing the reflection under the influence of this symbol for millions of people around the world since childhood.

In order to reach that end I confronted the Barbie symbol with other symbols which got their roots in different traditions and sources like religion or magic. Some of them with combination of Barbie symbol create quite controversial forms. Each of the photographic composition has its second level so it means it can be interpreted on different levels depending on which one you choose. Each of them is such ambiguity as Barbie symbol is.

thank you for your interest!

the fav are just from about-ten works i've seen, i try to take my time, watch them later on to give it enough time to sink in....time, time time - it's all about the time.

i would love to know what is the inspiration for the signs works. is it a work that developed from others or just a instent inspiration?

thank you very much for uploading.
