b i o g r a p h y - Alexa Szlavics painter, artist was born in 1962 in Hungary. She studied the painting and drawing technics in Budapest Hungary and Toronto, Canada. Her first master was her father Laszlo Szlavics (1927-1991), a hungarian artist, sculptor, painter and professor of an artschool. Alexa Szlavics lived with her parents in the most famous artcolony of Budapest "Szazados Street". Some of famous artcolony's artist, painters, graphic designers assisted her to study her art.
1987-1991 the artist lived in Toronto-Canada. There she was a free-lance graphic designer and a member of the Ontario Craft Council.
Currently the artist lives and paints in her own art studio the Upper Balaton ('Balaton-fevidek') Hungary. You can also see her paintings at some local and international art exhibitions in Hungary, Europe and Canada. Original artworks signed by Szlalexa or 'Szlávics Alexa'
