HERE I SIT, FORMING HUMANS (PROMETHEUS)
HIER SITZ' ICH, FORME MENSCHEN (PROMETHEUS)
2014. 150 x 120 cm. acrylic and oil on canvas
Here I sit, forming humans
In my image;
A race, to be like me,
To suffer, to weep,
To enjoy and delight themselves,
And to mock you –
As I do!

Hier sitz' ich, forme Menschen
Nach meinem Bilde.
Ein Geschlecht, das mir gleich sey,
Zu leiden, zu weinen.
Zu genießen und zu freuen sich,
Und dein nicht zu achten,
Wie ich!

has been for sale for some time, as you have seen. The maintenance and ongoing development to keep our non-profit and idealistic platform for contemporary art running and safe from hackers etc. costs money that is no longer there. Because of small investments that are necessary now and the running costs, we will have to shut down with a heavy heart at the beginning of summer on June 21.
