I used a work from Goya (Y son fieras) from the collection of Wallraf Richartz Museum in Cologne as a Matrix for this variation of the theme "desaster of the war". This was part of the concept. Some figures of Goyas etching are still visable.
I digitally manipulated of three of my misty Granite Belt morning watercolour studies, transferred the image onto canvas and painted the projected image in acrylic.
Inspired by the great abstract works and aerial photography on Artdoxa, I created a series called "Journeys". This series uses and explores different types of maps to create artwork compositions.
